Weee Haaaa!

We are sooooo excited for some warmer weather! Today we ventured outside for the first time in a very looong time. It was so fun and freeing. We hope this warming trend continues.

Here are the girls after they learned bugs are still present on the planet earth. They refused to play after seeing a fly. And they were sure a drop of water on the trampoline was a "beetle". Oh my goodness, how did I get such wimpy girls.

We're Alive - Barely!

Thanks to everyone for their thoughts and prayers in Claire's behalf. She's had a rough start, but we are sure her struggles are molding her into our perfect little angel. She seems to be doing much better these days, and we are thrilled about that. Grandma Cardon just visited us for a couple weeks. The girls had a great time torturing her with their endless jibber-jabber. We are so grateful for her patience and kindness. Although we are a bit afraid of what the future holds for our family. Everytime our mom's leave, something scary happens. I hope we will survive on our own. We'll cross our fingers and toes that we are on the mend and that springtime is well on it's way.

Four Sisters

With three older sisters, Claire should have no problem finding someone willing to hold her. Here are a few pictures of Libbie, Mia, and Mallory getting there first taste of their new baby sister.

The New Babe

Here she is. All 7 lbs. 6 0z. of her. Isn't she a doll. More pictures to come soon.

Our Merry Christmas

The girls in their new dresses from Grandma Oyler. Mia was especially excited to look like a ballerina.
Santa brought the girls guitars for Christmas. They have truely loved them.

Mallory in front of the tree and looking pretty cute I might add.

Mia trying very hard to smile. For some reason at this age, my kids forget how to show a real grin.

Libbie on Christmas morning with her Build-a-Bear sporting his new Yankees uniform.
Mallory using her favorite Christmas gift - chapstick.

Mallory looking cute and Christmasy.

A rare photo of the happy couple. This was just before we headed off to one of Nathan's company parties.

Mallory, Mia, and Mom made a very festive gingerbread house.

We headed to Temple Square to see the lights on a very cold and snowy night.

Mia and Mallory actually sharing a book and a chair. Wow! A Christmas miracle.

Turkey Time and the Goose is Getting Fat

We set up the tree Monday night. I think the girls had a good time.
Here is Libbie placing an ornament.
Mia doing more of the same.

I think Mia had some sort of romantic idea about placing the star atop the tree. Uh...not so much. Here is Nathan "helping" Mia get the job done. I thought it was quite humorous.

The day before Thanksgiving, the girls helped me bake pies and rolls. They mostly enjoyed playing with left over dough, which was fine by me. Sometimes their "help" isn't the most helpful. I do love their enthusiasm though.

We headed to Tremonton for our Thanksgiving festivities. We got to spend time with Hannah, Jake, Molly, and Annie, Aunt Cherie and her daughter Dayna, and Great Gma and Gpa Oyler. With all these great people around, the girls sure got spoiled. One of the girls' favorite things about visiting Grandma's is watching a movie in "their bedroom". Here they all are after Grandma has fixed them up nice and cozy for a flick.

I told my mom I am going to start keeping a photo log of all the terrorizing Mallory does while at their house. I do feel bad about it, but this was too funny to pass up a good laugh on. Hannah found Mallory surrounded by an entire box of used Kleenex on Mom's bed. All she could say is, "I blow my nose harder Mom." And she really was blowing her nose on every tissue.

Makes Me Smile

We haven't been up to too much lately - just livin' life I suppose. Libbie just completed her level 4 swimming lessons. It was quite a struggle at first, but she's becoming quite the swimmer. I tell her she's far better at swimming than I am, and it's true. She has an awesome back stroke. Here are some random pictures of Mia and Mallory.
Not sure what Mallory is doing here, but we'll just says she's telling us she's two.

Mallory loves to wear Libbie's Build-a-Bear clothes despite Libbie's pleas to not.

Candy, Candy, Candy

Here are all our cow girls leaving to trick-or-treat. They made quite the candy haul. At 7:30 this morning, when I asked them what they wanted for breakfast, they responded, "candy!". Yikes.
Here's our little mad cow.

Here is Nathan helping Mia carve her pumpkin. She made it very clear she had an idea of how her pumpkin was supposed to look, and we were not meeting those expectations.
The girls showing their finished pumpkins with wet hair and pjs.

We've been having some great weather lately. Here are the
girls playing hopscotch in the driveway.

Who's the Fairest of Them All?

Nathan "worked really hard" for the last few weeks to grow a beard for his Halloween costume. The tax department played the seven dwarfs and Nathan was -no, not Dopey - but the more fitting Bashful. He's the one on the top right with the rosey cheeks.

Say it aint so!

We had our first real snow Saturday night into Sunday. I can't say I was too excited, but the girls sure were. Here is Mia doing a snow angel.
Libbie

Mallory got a kick out of throwing snowballs at Daddy.
