World Records and More

We got the tree up tonight. The girls were so excited....everything was new and exciting to them even though we put it up every year. It was so fun to see the light in their eyes when they were putting the ornaments on the Christmas tree and looking at the different decorations.
Claire is loving her first Christmas season, and we are so happy to have her with us!

Adding the star to the top of the tree is becoming one of my favorite decorating moments.
Our Thanksgiving turned out great...we had a lot of fun people at our house. Ben and Mara came from Arizona, Rachel came from Provo, and Mom, Dad, Courtney, Nathan, Gma O, and Gpa O came from good ol' Tremonton. We ate some pretty tasty food and had some good conversation too. Too bad I always space getting my camera out on such occasions. However, I did happen to witness a rather historical event. Presenting.....
The New World Record Holders of the 4X100 Relay!
(wii style).
Would you look at that form? Here's Rachel right before the team's big finish.

I think Nathan is really concentrating on the task at hand...don't you?
What a team player.
A bad shot of Mara, but trust me, she was workin' hard too. Never prouder my friends, never prouder. All the blood, sweat, and tears finally paid off.

I'm glad your girls were allowed to help with the tree. Mine just can't seem to stop fighting so we've had to keep postponing the ornament part. At this rate, there will never be ornaments on the tree.

We put our tree up last night too. We still haven't decorated it though cause Mol wanted to help and she had to go to bed. Sounds like you guys had a nice Thanksgiving, wish we could have been there. We miss you guys.

You lucky duck, you had lots of guests for Thanksgiving. We went to Josh's aunt's house in Pima. It was very nice, but I still missed my knucklehead siblings. Your tree looks very pretty!

You make me laugh, Stacy. I sure am glad we were able to document that incredible accomplishment. And I'm glad you were so proud haha.

hi stacy, it's been a while, and I just wanted to comment again on how cute your girls are. Also, my sone only got 2 quarters. We had no idea the tooth fairy was increasing so much. Ha Ha! I guess he must have gotten the end of the night. Also, he did get any for his second tooth, because he kept forgetting to put it under his pillow.

There was definitely a lot of hard work that went into that WR! My arms were sore the entire time we were there and a couple of days after! No pain no gain though right? Thanks again for a great time!
