Happy Easter!

Yesterday we headed to Grandma's house for our Easter celebration. We got to spend time with lots of fun people and eat some tastey food. Grandma grew her lawn super long just special for our annual Easter egg hunt too. The kids had a blast looking for their finds. And, I am not quite sure why none of my captions will go with my pictures these days so I guess you can play a matching game to figure out what goes with what.
Jaren and Little Junie hiding in the grass.

Grandma gave all the kids new summery pajamas. Here are all the older girls in theirs. They loved them.

One of my many failed attempts at a nice picture of all the kids in their new Easter clothes.

Jaren got a soccer ball in his basket...which he was quite excited about. And here he is in his new springy shirt all ready for church.

A funny, toothy grin from Jaren.

Saturday night we colored eggs.

Claire's favorite egg she colored.

Libbie had her first soccer game this weekend. She did a great job and was quite thrilled to get a header.

That picture of Jaren and Junie in the grass is priceless. And, of course I intentionally let the grass grow to 8 inches long for the Easter egg hunt - duh! Winning! Now all I need is a huge machete to chop it down. It should be an experience. Thanks for spending the day with me - it was a wonderful day that I will treasure for a long time. I love you guys so much. Thank you for making it all worth while!

Looks like a perfect Easter. Do you think Claire kind of looks like Courtney when she was little? I thought I saw a little resemblance -

I too love the tall grass. That picture is so sweet. I could just eat those too. All of those sweet little girls are so cute. I remember how much fun I had with all of my cousins. I can only imagine how much fun they have!

The lawn looks like the Serengeti after the monsoon season, but perfect for an egg hunt. Everyone looks like they had a great day. Our Easter wasn't quite so eventful, but still nice. Have a great time in Hawaii!
