Greetings!

We've really slacked off on the up-keep of our blog lately. You see, the most exciting place we've been over the last couple months is the doctor's office. We are really keeping the pediatricians and dentist in business in Saratoga Springs. I am pretty sure our home is the breeding grouds for all diseases (Mallory being the head carrier). We are trying to remain positive and cross our fingers everyday that we are on the mend. This winter has been brutal! Libbie just finished up her basketball season. She did a great job, but unfortunately I forgot the camera every week so I have no visual proof. Sorry!

Mia got make-up from Santa this year because she was sick of Santa always bringing her "boy toys". Mallory made us wonder what in the world Santa was thinking.

This picture is an accurate portrayal of Mia on Christmas day - dazed, confused, ornery, and quite frankly didn't give a rusty one. She made Libbie open most of her gifts.

Libbie on the other hand tore threw her presents in a matter of minutes. She loved every second and was happy to open some of Mia's gifts.

Winter Fun!

Last night we went to Nathan's third work party ( the family tubing event)at Soldier's Hallow. It was great fun for all of us. Libbie loved going down the hill, although Mia wasn't quite sure if she liked it.

On Thursday night we went to Temple Square to see the lights with Ben, Aubrey, and their girls. The weather was just right, and we really enjoyed seeing all the decor.

What's Up

We haven't been up to much lately - just doing what we do best - PARTY! We are looking forward to the holidays. This week we will be traveling to Driggs, ID to see Aunt Cherie for Thanksgiving. Hope you all have a great time wherever you'll be spending Turkey Day.

Our Halloween went off without a hitch I suppose. We went to the ward's "table or treat". It was quite crowded since there were about 5000 trick-or-treaters roaming the halls of the church, but we came home with a lot of goodies.

Pumpkin Carving!

Here are the girls with their finished products. Pumpkins are about the only things that grew in our garden all summer. Daddy helping Mia carve her pumpkin.

Libbie carving her pumpkin by herself. She was quite reluctant to gut it, but once she started, there was no stopping her. She had a riot. She's been begging us every night since to carve some more.
Nathan always gets into the spirit of the holidays. He loves it when I make him be crafty! He was thanking me all night for the opportunity.

Happy Birthday to Rachel!

It was Rachel's birthday last Thursday, and we had a pre-party the Sunday night before. Here we are having cake. Gavin is above really enjoying himself!

Visit to Arches

Last weekend, we, along with Caleb, Marci and Gavin, headed to Moab for a little vacation. Our timing couldn't have been more off as far as the weather was concerned. We were beginning to think we'd have to see the sites in a raft. However, Friday morning we ventured out into the elements with our best rain gear in tow. It really was beautiful. There were waterfalls at every turn and red rivers running down all the trails. The kids sure were troopers as we hiked through the whole rainy day. Despite the beauty of our first day in the area, we were glad to see sunny, blue skies on Saturday. We enjoyed a couple short hikes in Arches and then headed to Dead Horse Point for a bit. Aunt Crystal informed us about "Letter Boxing". People have left clues on the internet that lead to boxes with rubber stamps in them. You get to take a stamp of theirs in trade for a stamp of your own. Here is Libbie with the letter box we found at Dead Horse Point.
