Hibernation

When the excitement of the holidays has come and gone and tax season upon us, we tend to hibernate for the next few months. You see, winter is not my friend. I try not to leave the house unless I have to. We are still alive however, making fun memories indoors. And, here are some of the things we've been doing.
Celebrating Claire's THIRD birthday, Dora style.

Enjoying fun birthday presents.

Perfecting our cheesiest/most adorable grins.

Spending precious time together puting together a puzzle.

Becoming an expert at finding hidden treasures in the carpet...ewww.

Making fun ice cream treats Grandma Cardon sent for Christmas.

Helping Mom and Dad in the kitchen nearly every night.

Sleeping...or rather cat-napping. His naps have been really far too short.

Thanks for posting. It's always good to see those kids. We miss them already. In the mood for a trip to Ver-Nal?

I love the Dora cake. Is it a special pan or did you cut it that way? You are pretty amazing with your birthday cakes. I can't believe Claire is already three. I'm sure she and Luke would have a grand time together watching Dora.

I think you have perfected the art of cheesey grins. Your kids have it down and I am loving it. Especially your little guy... that smile has to be the cutest thing I have ever seen.

What an adorable crew you have there. You could have shown a hair more excitement with the puzzle, but that would have been my expression also.

Jaren really has joined right in on the cheesy grins. That is hilarious. Super cute photos. Wyatt would like to hibernate with you, even though his crying might have said otherwise when we visited.

Too cute! Love the pictures! I heard Claire was concerned Dara didn't have any legs or knees! Haha. I can't believe you didn't make a full body Dara cake.
