Claire started preschool in September. I can hardly believe it. She loves every minute of it.
Every now and again I randomly decide to take pictures of all the kids on Sunday before church. Here they all are looking spiffy and cute.Mia celebrated her birthday in September as well. She requested a mint/chocolate cake. It was very rich and a little too minty even for me. Oops. Good thing she pretended to like it, even though she hardly touched it. Ha ha. Because of the way life seems to go these days - too much on the schedule and not enough time in the day - we split our celebrations up over several days. We went to Color Me Mine and painted pottery about a week prior to her actual birthday. All the girls picked cute animals to paint. It is so fun to spend time with my girls. Although it's sad to see them growing up so fast, it's exciting to see them maturing and becoming so independent.
When Fall Break rolled around we didn't have any plans because Nathan and I couldn't decide what it was we wanted to do. Lucky for us, Nathan found a good deal on a room in Park City last minute. All the kids care to do is swim and have treats so that's what we did.
Hotel phones = hours of fun.
Libbie and Mia getting their relaxation on in front of the tv.
The girls taught Jaren to strike this pose and say, "Oh Yeah!" Ultra cool. This guy was a complete maniac in the pool to say the least. Although, Jaren wouldn't be Jaren if he wasn't a maniac all the time. It was hilarious to watch and a little terrifying. He would catapult himself off the ladder handles and yell, "Candy Ball!"
Claire zips around the pool in her water wings.
Mallory was becoming quite the swimmer by the end of our stay.
We also did the traditional Scare Crow alk one day. Here's Mia looking very grown up.
Jaren liked this "I crow" scarecrow.

First of all - I liked that you used the word spiffy... made my day :) and second of all - that's my kind of vacation; where you can just veg and truly relax.
p.s. your kids couldn't be cuter
First of all, your kids are all adorable! And I miss all of you. Second of all, when did Jaren grow up?! Good grief, he seems so old!
