For those who didn't know, we sold our home in October because we are building a new home in our same neighborhood. While our home is being built, we have the pleasure of living in an apartment a couple miles away. I am ever grateful that our home sold so very quickly, but this apartment living has been a challenge. We have all the girls sharing one room and Curious Jaren is in a room of his own. His room also serves as our "toy room" as it's the only room with floor space. Luckily, even though we are in an apartment, we were still able to have an enjoyable holiday season together with family and friends. Here is the fam trimming the tree ( with a hi-light of everyone but Claire trying to put the star on top of the tree. Claire is too afraid of her crazy daddy lifting her so high. Ha ha.)
Aww...Libbie can reach the top without Dad's help. Sniff, sniff.
Our whole fun bunch.
Just a cute picture of Claire and Finn one day when we got to watch the little guy.
Playing in the snow...well some of us did. This picture was taken from my bedroom window. I know, I know - Mother of the Year!
Jaren ready to head out. What's cuter than little kids in layers of snow clothes? Not much.
Claire at her Christmas recital. For some reason she was nervous and kept sticking her tongue out at us all sassy like. It was weird and funny and mostly weird. Ha ha.
On Christmas Eve Caleb and Marci were kind enough to share their home with our pathetic selves (something they've done far too much lately). We played some Christmas Minute-to-Win-It, ate soup, decorated cookies for Santa, and visited the evening away in hopes that Santa would come quicker.
Jaren and Wyatt trying to get the Christmas cookie from their forehead to their mouth without using their hands...or not. Cute stuff.
Libbie taking a crack at it. I think she did it in the end.
Henry trying out the Nut Stacker.
All decked out in their new Christmas pjs.
Mallory with her Calico Critters Santa brought.
Libbie got a Kindle from Santa.
Mia got a new bike. She might get to use it someday.
Here's Mia putting her new Legos together.
Libbie and Jaren playing Mario Kart and Mia doing a craft on Christmas morning.
Mallory and Claire playing with their Calico Critters.
Jaren with his train track he got from Santa and a classic picture of Nathan closing his eyes. Maybe he thought if he did that, no one would see him in the photo.

Congratulations on selling your home and how exciting to be building a new one! You are an amazing person in my eyes to endure living in an apt - I will pray for it to end soon. :)
Looks like you guys had a Merry Christmas and a wonderful Thanksgiving!
Looks like a great Christmas. Libbie seems more and more grown up every day. She is a great girl. I wish you had a picture of Claire sticking out her tongue during her recital haha-crazy kid.
