Eggceptional Easter

We had a GREAT Easter weekend full of family and fun.  Saturday we went to my Mom's house for yummy hamburgers with all the fixins'.  Of course the hi-light of the day is always the egg hunt for the kids.  I had to laugh and laugh when Mom showed me all the eggs she filled for us to hide.  Let's just say there was plenty of candy to go around. What more can a kid ask for?
Not a great picture of my sweety pie niece. She is the funniest little thing. Love her.

My mom's neighbors even brought over their pet bunny for the kids to play with. How Eastery is that? Jaren was so excited to see the bunny eating his food - my mom's grass. Ha ha.

Jake and another of my sweet nieces...Little Miss Clover.
June, Hannah, and Jaren (who is busily shoveling whole candy bars into his mouth).
We have early morning church these days so our basket finding, breakfast eating, and getting ready for the day happened in record time.  Jaren found his! I just love how excited he gets about things.
Mia checking out what the bunny brought.
Jaren showing Libbie his new and exciting Poopa Troopa (Koopa Troopa) animal.
Mallory got a guinea pig in her basket.  Nothing gets Mallory going quite like a new stuffed animal.
Everyone eating some candy to get their day started right.
Trying to get a nice photo of all their new Easter clothes.  Oh well. They're still cute.
After church we went to Caleb's and Marci's for dinner and another egg hunt.  Again, the kids were showered with more candy than they should ever have but will most likely eat by the end of the week.

Enjoying the sunshine and opening their eggs.

Libbie climbing up the porch in Marci's backyard. I guess stairs are so yesterday.
