Logan Bound - Again

With addition of Tyce, our summer has been a little more low-key than we had planned on.  However, we still wanted to get out of town for just a bit to do something fun with the kids.  We decided to go to our old fall-back Logan.  We got there at dinner time and immediately went to Firehouse for dinner.  It pretty much never disappoints.  After dinner Nathan took the kids swimming at the hotel pool.  They love swimming so, so much.

Jaren's non-fear of water makes me very fearful.  Ha ha.  Luckily Dad's there to catch him most of the time. Nathan even proclaimed that he thinks Jaren could have made it all the way across this pool he jumps so far and hard.  Here are some of his best tricks.

After swimming we made our way to get some Aggie Ice Cream. It was most heavenly.  The evening was cool and the ice cream delicious.

The next day we went to Bear Lake for a while to swim and have a milkshake.  The parents were quite disappointed at the "beach" area, but the kids had a ball playing in the water.  I was beginning to wonder if they'd sprouted gills they stayed in the water so long.
Jaren didn't mind the weedy, hard sand.
The beach isn't too fun for babies.

Jaren would run fast and fall in the water over and over again.  It scared me.  When does he not scare me though?
Libbie is pretty fun to take pictures of lately.  Ha ha.  She makes me laugh.  The other girls make me laugh too.

Jaren and Tyce taking a rest at the hotel.  We concluded this day with dinner at Fredrico's and another dip in the pool.  The next day we got ready, ate lunch at Cafe Sabor (which we decided we didn't need to do again), and then went to Tremonton to visit Grandma and Grandpa for a bit.  All in all, I'd say our quick trip was a success.
