School's In Again

I'm always ecstatic and dreadful when school starts again. Glad they will have another outlet besides me, glad for a schedule, glad to not hear them fighting all day, glad for the new adventures they'll have and the new friends they'll meet.  Sad because my babies will be another year older and sad because they sure do make moms do so much homework these days.  Seriously.  Libbie crossed into new territory for our family this year...we now have a junior high student.  What?  This can't be true.  So far she's liking it...especially Spanish.
Mia has been worried to be the oldest sibling at the elementary school this year.  She's in 4th grade and is liking her teacher Miss Mickelsen.
Mallory's in third grade.  So far she's liking her teacher too and has made a few new friends.
Here's the three oldest riding their bikes and scooter to school.

Claire started kindergarten this year.  She is so excited to be a part of the school world with her older sisters.  After school on the first day she said disappointingly, "We didn't learn how to read."  Awww. So cute.  And she's quite anxious for her teacher to assign her some homework.  It's coming my sweet, it's coming.

And don't forget about my two buddies still at home with me. We are having lots of fun in our few quiet  hours alone together.  Jaren was quite excited I found him a Mario shirt.
Tycie Boy will be 3 months this week. Still thinking he's one of the cutest, smartest babies ever.
