Birthday Boys

Jaren turned 4 this month.  Time has really flown by.  Our little daddy long legs has gotten so big.  Because I am a slacker, I forgot to document the beginning of his birthday.  He went to itty-bitty ball in the morning and then Marci, Wyatt, and Finn met us at home for lunch, playing, and a movie.  It was great for Jaren to get to spend a little time with one of his best buddies on his special day.  Libbie had a semi-final game that evening so we went to her game followed by take-out from Chick-fil-a.  Parents of the year :).  Luckily Jaren is still easy to please.  All he wanted to do for his birthday was eat cake and have peanut butter and jelly.

Libbie was quite excited to pick out a bowtie and suspenders for Jaren as a gift.  Not too sure if Jaren is completely thrilled about it :)
Jaren is by far THE BEST person to get gifts for.  He squealed with delight on every gift and had hilarious/cute things to say about everything.
Here he is blowing out the candles on his "Turbo"cake.  Mallory pointed out that "Turbo" mostly looks like and old man.  I think she's right.  But hey, I tried.

Jaren did not actually touch his cake or ice cream..  He only ate that giant blob of fondant we pretended looked like Turbo. Eww.
Here Jaren is looking quite sassy in his new bowtie and suspenders from Libs.

The next week, it was Nathan's birthday.  He's getting quite old.  He's also fairly easy to please on his birthday.  He had breakfast muffins for breakfast, went to work for an insane amount of time, and then ended the day with manicotti and breadsticks for dinner.  It's all about the food for us these days.  Sad, but true.  And I love capturing moments like this when I think, "Holy crap. We have a lot of kids!"  All the chaos, and all the fun. Love both our March birthday boys!

Tyce was excited to eat the wrapping paper.

I just laughed and had a huge smile on my face the whole time I read this post. Jaren's smile is so contagious... mixed with the bow tie - it makes me grin from ear to ear.
And your other little fellow eating the wrapping paper. H.I.L.A.R.I.O.U.S. photo. Did all of those periods make it clear that I think he's the cutest thing alive?

Cole and I decided that Tyce eating the paper was so cute we wanted to tickle him from our computer! Happy Birthday Jaren. He is as cute as can be and I love that he gives you some entertainment. Nothing like a boy to bring a little energy!
