Easter Festivities

We had a great Easter this year.  Of course we went to Tremonton for our annual Easter Egg hunt and BBQ.  Wouldn't be the same without it.  We love our family time together at Grandma's house. Isn't Olivia adorable!
All the kiddos (including Uncle Nathan) before the hunt began.
Little Miss Clover is simply wonderful as well.
Tyce is all geared up to collect eggs for the first time.  Or not. He mostly cared about pulling grass out and eating it.
Jaren shaking his first egg to guess what treasure was inside.
Libbie's never been more excited to look for Easter eggs.
 Clairey Beary.
 Miss Mia.

Daddy helping Jaren spy hidden eggs.
Jake helping Annie find some higher eggs.  I love that my mom actually has a tree in her yard that grew taller than us all.   Wow!
 Junie Bug.  Such a doll!
 Clover having fun too!
Jake  totally photo bombed these little cuties.  He's such a show-off :)
Inspecting their spoils.

The highlight of the day was the discovery of a lizard in our rock wall.  Jason was very dedicated, along with all the kids, at capturing this creature.  After hours of failed attempts and ideas, Molly was able to snag the little fella.  They promptly put him in a jar and observed him carefully (or maybe not so carefully since they say they watched one of his eyeballs fall out...sick).  Jake and Hannah are mean parents and wouldn't let Molly take her new pet home, so he was released back into the wild of Thatcher.

Easter morning was fun.  After the kids found their hidden baskets, we ate breakfast burritos and headed off to church.  I think Mia is showing us she likes her basket in this picture.  It's questionable though.
Tycie boy is loving his Peeps. Sorry I actually ate them all a few days later Tyce.  Maybe next year my friend.
Mallory with her Zebra, her favorite animal.
Libbie.  Why is she so old?

 Mia all ready for church.

Claire modeling her new dress.  She is quite the character when it comes to picture-taking these days.
 Mallory in her new dress.
The boys with their pal Libbie.
Jaren is also fun to photograph as of late.

So cute! It looks like you guys had a wonderful Easter. I can't believe how big that tree is in your moms yard. I guess that shows how long its been since I was there. You all have such cute and entertaining children. PS I'm with you on the stealing the little ones peeps. They are my favorite!
