Somehow we now have a freshman. Luckily 9th graders are still in middle school around here so it doesn't seem quite as awful.
Mia is in 6th grade. Miss Allred is her teacher. Last year at the elementary school. Sad.
Mallory started 5th grade. Her teacher is Mrs. Smith.
Claire is as excited to start 2nd grade as she was to start 1st or Kindergarten. Her teacher is Miss Mortenson.
All the girls ready to hop on their bikes for the first day! Some are more thrilled than others.
Jaren started Kindergarten a week later than everyone else so we had a little extra time to hang out. Here he is discovering what he thought was "the biggest hot dog ever!" at Wal-Mart. Priceless. I guess a giant loaf of bologna could be considered merely a hot dog.

How in the world is he going to school now. It seems like yesterday I was toting his chubby self everywhere, wondering if my arms would break off soon. His teacher is Mrs. McPherson. He loves her. Says she's pretty and offered her a hug at their first meeting. Never afraid to love someone.
Tyce and I aren't sure what to do with no extra people around. Luckily he thinks up all sorts of trouble to get into. Such a creative soul.
