15 years and July

Libbie turned the ripe-old-age of 15 this year! She chose to get lunch at Aubergine for an acai bowl.
Then Jaren had a birthday party at Wyatt's house so we perused the mall and ended up at the Lego store.
After Dad finished work, we tried out indoor croquet.  It was fun, but a bit hectic with some of our younger, less attentive little people.

After croquet it was home for dinner, presents, and oreo, peanut butter, banana pie.

This girl really is amazing. What would I do without her? She brings sanity, laughs, helping hands, a good example, and fun!
Now for some randomness in July...One of Jaren's favorite past times - shaving with a comb.
Pioneer day was great fun.  We had a BBQ with Caleb, Marci, and the boys followed by POPS, sparklers, and a little fireworks show.  Then our neighbors provided us with some gigantic fireworks.

I'm happy to report that there were no fireworks injuries! Success!  Here's our cute group all lined up for the neighborhood fireworks shows.
Caleb and Marci headed out of town for a day or so which gave us the chance to party hard with "the boys" again.  We started out with some bowling and ice cream.

Why do my teenagers decide they can't ever smile normally for a photo?
Finn had THE CUTEST bowling stance I've ever seen. And I mean ever.  He ended every bowl in just this way.
Jaren and Wyatt spent a good amount of time arm wrestling in between their turns.
We made a trek with the Roblyers to the Castledale pageant.  It poured rain the whole drive there so I was a bit afraid of the evening we had ahead of us.  Thankfully, the weather cleared up just in time for the show to begin.  3/4 of this show was really great.  It was fun to see the horses racing on and off stage and the silhouette of the moving wagons traveling across the horizon.
