We stuck a little closer to home on day 4. Started out the day with a bike ride to check out the turtles again.
Then we took a jaunt to Opaekaa Falls. You just hopped out of your car to enjoy their splendor. And we got to see a wild pig.
Then we checked out Wailua Falls and Wailua River.
Next we grabbed lunch at a deli and of course I had to snap a picture of a rooster. Chickens are EVERYWHERE on Kauai. It's a little gross :)
Then back we went to Poipu beach. There was a little island off the main beach we made our way to on foot. The water out to the island is a bit scary and unpredictable for my liking, but it didn't go over my head so it was survivable. Ha ha. The kids loved going out there.

Just a snapshot of the condo we rented. We were downstairs. I think we cooked dinner at the place this night.
