What's better than carving pumpkins, outside, with the sun shining down just a couple days before Halloween? Not much! Oh how I loved this gentle fall. I wish it would come back.

Scooter riding one day.
Yucky snow the next. He was in heaven though...for about 3.2 minutes.
Wearing Daddy's name tag from his bagger boy days.
Still scootering occasionally in November, even while wearing a pilgrim hat.
The day before Thanksgiving we had tickets to Luminaria at Thanksgiving Point. This is the first year they've done this so we were quite excited to try it out. Well, I was excited until the snow decided to fly sideways in the wind. All the kids outvoted my wimpy self and we braved the storm. Luckily most the moisture and wind subsided after a delicious dinner at Cubby's. Jake and Hannah were kind enough to keep Tyce for us so he didn't have to endure the cold.
Let me just say that this was pretty darn cool. Oh, and we had Kelbie join us for the fun.
Jaren helped us peel potatoes for Thanksgiving dinner. He's a pretty handsome kitchen hand.
Dinner was hosted by Jake and Hannah, but of course I forgot to break out he camera during dinner. We'll skip right to the dessert ones. There was one of about every pie you could imagine. So yummy. I'm ready for a do-over.
